Spring Break April 19-21, 2013!!

Hello everyone!!!! This was our Spring mini vacay at Ocean Shores, should I say our annual spring break with the Horne girls!!! It's always fun to have this time with my sister and nieces and of course my boys, Miguel and Ari :).  We stayed at the Best Western Lighthouse, and even them put us at the same room were last year #307 , they knew we are coming :)!! The weather was nice, definitely better than Seattle's weather but last year was beautiful. We planned to do a bonfire and smores :) regardless of none of our man is around (fire and wood is a man's job :))  but it got a little windy at night so we decided to just stay inside and watch a movie and make smores in the microwave.I finally get to see the last of the Twilight series on this trip. My sister brought dvd's and we watched 3 movies not at the same night of course.

Breakfast was a hit with the kids and for free it's a hit for me and my sister. I loved the coffee!!

Yes, we'll definetly go back and stay at the same place next year and the following year and so fort....................if  God permits!

Ahh, there's my grandson, Ari! I'm really glad he get to come this year, he's a little work :) but he's a lot of fun too.  Don't know how he can stand the cold water, he didn't care and had the time of his life! Happy and so glad to see him this way!

Malayah is the strongest 15 year old I have ever known, seriously I tried to carry my sister and boy was she heavy ha ha ha.........FOR ME!!!

He is getting quite big!! Not a baby anymore, he is the most articulate 7 year old kid I've known! Mostly sweet but annoying at times :). Love him to death though!

Here's the best SHOT out of this trip!

One of the best Pizza place in Ocean shores is  Dugans! and for this group the most anticipated part of the trip specially for Miguel. It was good and fun and to make it more lively we played a game, Maribel's idea! Everyone get to say something they love about each person. And as you can tell in this pic of Ari, saying please count me out and pointing at Audri, "she's in!" LOL!



Let see if I can remember what was said!

Audri to Miguel as she like his style; to Malayah that she can use her stuff; that's all I remembered:

 Malayah to Miguel as her favorite cousin! Miguel doubting the sincerity of her statement thinking that he is the only cousin her age, but Maribel back it up agreeing with Malayah. I remember she also told me that I am funny and her favorite Aunt.....hmmm!

Miguel to Malayah as very cool cousin; and Audri as competitive and very unique. There is more he said but my senior citizen mind cannot remember it all. :)

As we have this fun conversation going on  Ari on the other hand announced hysterically  that he was choking, it went for a few seconds and really that made me nervous and Beng as a nurse were on her way to give him some heimlich manuever, but thankfully it cleared out by itself.

All in all, this was another GREAT short vacation and, God willing that we can do this every Spring Break for a long long time!
